POSTCARD SERIES:

A series of thirty postcards sent as invitations to the final performance of my masters research. Gathered from the archives of my trip to Europe, each relates to a story gathered from friends and family who have told me about an experience they've had to do with water and how they have felt this experience as a visceral feeling within their body.

MASTERS THESIS: haerenga kōrerorero, choreographing sensing relations

The final written document submitted for my masters thesis year. The document had two layers of paper, the first made of 120 GSM tracing paper, the second, plain white paper. The tracing paper layer contained photos from my research trip to Europe and quotes from people whom I had interviewed through the year for my work. The second layer contained the thesis writing and supporting information. The quotes and supporting information wove in and out of each other through the layers to reference the way in which each layer or source of information informed and spoke to the others.

Here is a selection of the pages, the first image being the top layer, followed by the underneath layer that was able to be seen below it.
